CareerSimplified Launchpad ("Launchpad") is a web application at launchpad.careersimplified.co.in operated by CareerSimplified. It helps MBA applicants manage intake answers, essays, resumes, and related prep tools. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
2. Information we collect
When you sign in, we may collect:
- Account data: email address, display name, and profile photo from Google sign-in (if you choose Google), or your email for magic-link sign-in.
- Application content: intake answers, essays, resumes, school lists, and progress you save in Launchpad.
- Technical data: basic logs needed to operate the service (for example IP address and browser type) through our hosting provider.
3. How we use information
- Authenticate you and keep your session secure.
- Store and display your saved application materials.
- Provide AI-assisted features you request (for example essay or resume suggestions).
- Process payments and subscription status when you upgrade (via our payment partners).
- Improve reliability and security of the product.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Service providers
We use trusted providers to run Launchpad, including:
- Supabase (authentication and database hosting)
- Vercel (application hosting)
- Google (optional sign-in)
- Anthropic (AI features you trigger)
- Payment processors such as Razorpay when you purchase access
These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service, under their own terms and security practices.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain your account data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated content by contacting us. We may retain minimal records where required by law or for fraud prevention.
6. Security
Access to your data is protected by authentication and row-level security in our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we work to protect your information using reasonable industry practices.
7. Your choices
You can sign out at any time. You may use Google account permissions to revoke access. For questions or deletion requests, email careersimplified@outlook.com.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Launchpad after changes means you accept the updated policy.
